Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Last updated June 2026
Draft for review — not legal advice. This document is a working draft prepared from regulatory and industry guidance. It must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before it is published or relied upon.
This policy sets out what you may and may not do when using our website and products. It forms part of, and is incorporated into, our [Terms of Service](/terms).
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who accesses the Services — individual learners and users who access a product through an institution. Institutions are responsible for their users' compliance.
2. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services unlawfully, or in violation of these or any applicable rules or regulations.
- Access another person's account, or share, sell, or transfer your account or credentials.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or upload content you have no right to share.
- Harass, abuse, defame, or harm others, or post unlawful, hateful, or harmful content.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Services or their infrastructure.
3. Content & intellectual property
Our questions, explanations, simulations, and other materials are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them for your own permitted study or instruction only. You may not copy, redistribute, publish, resell, or create derivative works from our content, and you may not scrape, crawl, or harvest content or use automated means to extract it, except as expressly permitted in writing.
4. Exam & academic integrity
Our products help you prepare; they are study tools, not exam content. You must not use the Services to cheat, to facilitate cheating, or in any way that violates the rules of a testing body (e.g., NCSBN/NGN, CPNRE) or your institution's academic-integrity policy. Do not reproduce, solicit, or share live or actual examination questions.
5. Responsible use of AI features
When using our AI features (including “Sage”), do not attempt to misuse, manipulate, or extract the underlying models, and do not submit real patient information, others' personal information, or unlawful content. AI output may be imperfect and is not professional, clinical, or medical advice.
6. Security
Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, breach security or authentication, or access data not intended for you, without our prior written authorization. To report a vulnerability responsibly, email privacy@ngnsimulation.com.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action as described in the Terms of Service. We may report unlawful activity to authorities.
